My name is Mark Lane. I am a native of San Diego but I currently live in Wildomar California. I am an astronomy professor and the planetarium director at Palomar College in San Marcos California. My passion is astronomy, but I am a geek who is fascinated by many things. When I am not peering through a telescope or teaching others about astronomy, I am tinkering with gadgets, doing photography, or camping with my wife in our RV. I am a practicing skeptic that loves to learn. I enjoy the tastiness of a well-crafted beer and I drink them every day… usually.
